Who is the experience for?

Business owners, event organisers, community groups, charity events and festivals. We can create a bespoke package to fit with your requirements, just give us a call to discuss.

Where do you visit?

Pretty much everywhere! We are based in Dorset, but are mobile and can visit anywhere nationwide. Short on your own space? Let us find a great local woodland or event venue near you.

Do you have any accreditation and awards?

All instructors are NCFE qualified, DBS checked, Outdoor First Aid trained, hold Food Hygiene Level 2 and Safeguarding Level 2 qualifications.

How big are the group sizes?

The ratios for our sessions are designed to balance optimum quality and safety. Depending on the age and ability of participants, and the nature of the activities booked, we will have differing ratios of participants per instructor. Our ratios never exceed 1:14.

Do we need any equipment or resources?

All equipment and resources are provided. We may need access to water and electricity.

What clothing will we need on the day?

Dress for the weather and be prepared to get a little bit dirty. There will be handling of natural materials and a chance you may get smoky clothes.

Do you cater for any dietary requirements?

Yes, we can cater for any dietary requirements, just be sure to let us know at booking.

Is there anything else I need to bring?

Please bring your own water bottles and as many snacks as you like. We always have a good supply of coffee and teas available, but feel free to bring your own if you have any specific preferences.

Do you cover first aid?

Yes, all staff are first aid trained and adhere to strict operating procedures. Full risk assessments for each activity and dynamic risk assessment forms will be completed prior to arrival. The Bushcraft Bus is a member of the IOL of Practitioners and we have full public liability insurance up to £5 million.

Who are the instructors?

Jim and Tom are outdoor instructors, avid travellers, adventure seekers and conservationists. Friends on a mission to bring bushcraft and nature to those who experience barriers to access.

Can we take photos/video/audio?

Yes, of course! We are more than happy for you to take any photos or recordings during the sessions. Be sure to give us a tag @bushcraftbus.
